I had the privilege of participating in EcoTalk, where I spoke on the topic of "Nature Through the Eyes of an Artist". In my talk, I emphasized that environmental preservation begins with our inner attitude — how we live and what values we uphold. I discussed how art can be a powerful tool for raising awareness and fostering a deeper connection with nature. I believe that every individual has a role in this process, and it starts with recognizing that nature’s well-being is directly tied to our own.
I also reflected on how we, as artists, have the ability to translate nature's beauty and fragility into meaningful expressions that can inspire others to care for it. We don’t just create for art's sake; we create with a responsibility to the world around us.
Nature doesn’t just need us — we deeply need nature to live, feel, and create. It is not only about managing waste or pollution but also about respecting the delicate balance that sustains life on this planet.
I was joined by three amazing speakers:
– Nona Hovhannisyan, who presented on "Will Vanadzor Remain a Green City by 2040?" discussing the efforts of city authorities to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
– Avetiq Khanadyan, who spoke about "Nature and Mental Health," exploring the interaction between human psychology, nature, and the impact of urban life.
– Ani Hakobyan, the organizer of the event, who shared her thoughts on "Is It Easy to Be a Young Environmental Defender?"
I’m deeply grateful to Ani Hakobyan for organizing this event and for bringing together such inspiring discussions. Special thanks also to all the speakers and participants for creating such a warm and insightful atmosphere.
Nature has existed without us, but we, as humans, truly need nature to thrive. Let’s protect it with responsibility and care.
